Architecturally designed Cycladic style villa
Overlooking the Gulf of Mirabello on an arid mountain-scape of Crete nestles Villa Achilleas. Constructed with organic shapes and amazingly lush exterior spaces facing towards the sensational landscape of sea and islands, the villa is framed naturally and gracefully fits in with its surroundings.
This pristine, white villa rests 150 metres above sea level with views that span right across the water. From this spot, the beach itself is only 200 metres away, but you also have your own private pool from which you can take in the breathtaking sights. In the middle of an olive grove, this villa is the perfect spot to embrace Crete and its surrounding culture. From the pool, you can see over Psira island and across Tholos Bay which sits beneath.
While outdoors you will find a gas BBQ to ensure you are able to make the most of the glorious outdoor weather, inside, the villa has a clean, white aesthetic, offering a sitting room that opens out onto the pool area, and a fully-equipped kitchen space. As an added feature for your enjoyment, the villa also has a jacuzzi with seating for seven. The bedrooms are all king in size, and two have their own ensuite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is situated within a Cycladic style cave room which is separate from the main villa.

The garden and orchard, which were created by a landscape architect, combine decorative and scented species in order to enjoy fruits and flowers the entire year round: olives, oranges, mandarins, lemons, figs, mousmoulia (a type of peach), pomegranate and aromatic plants – mint, rosemary – turn sitting in the shaded lounge near the garden into a deeply relaxing experience.
The villa and gardens have been designed to provide multiple areas of shade during the day as the sun moves around the villa.
